Take a hike
Go boldly into the life God has for you. Be strong and courageous in the face of life’s storms. Smile, hope, heal, and sometimes… take a hike.
Today was a get out and explore kind of day. It might not have looked that way on the surface, but the mist and fog gave the woods an ethereal feeling. For the first time ever, there were no other hikers at Sky Bridge. It was quiet, peaceful. The only sound was the water dripping from the leaves onto the rocks. It was an apt time to reflect, take stock of what’s important in your life. Often it seems we wait for the perfect moment to do something. We only head out for adventure when the conditions are just right, or after we’ve marked so many things off our to-do lists. I implore you, take the hike. Life keeps coming. There will be another list tomorrow. And another group of reasons not to take that chance, pursue that goal, build that dream. The Lord commands us to be strong and courageous, to speak boldly without fear, for He goes with us. Spend some time with Him today doing something you’ve put off for too long. Something to make you hope. Help you heal. Or at least put a smile on your face. The best time to start is now.
Welcome
Our first edition is all about celebrating homeschool moms. With a beautiful free printable, ideas for mothers to relax, and much more, we hope you will enjoy your time wandering with us.
Putting together over 200 custom items that we’re still adding to three stores, publishing our first online magazine, building a new group, finishing paperwork, plus all the responsibilities that come with being homeschool mamas has been a blessing and a challenge this week. We’re very thankful to be here and to have partnered with each other in this endeavor. We pray you will give us a little grace as we grow and continue to come back to see what else we’ve accomplished. For now, please take a moment to check out our Shops, Events, and Services. New merchandise will be added daily including more prinatables, stickers, and some really funny tees. And travel plans are in the works for some amazing trips next spring. Stay tuned and enjoy our first edition of Wandering Homeschool Weekly.
